Beds and Blessings Community Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving children and families throughout Riverside County and San Bernardino County, California. We provide beds, bedding, living essentials, educational supplies, hygiene items, and connections to community resources for families experiencing hardship.
Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, businesses, churches, foundations, and community partners, we help children move from sleeping on floors, couches, or temporary surfaces into beds of their own.

A Bed Is More Than Furniture
A bed provides more than a place to sleep. It gives a child comfort, stability, privacy, dignity, and a space to rest and prepare for the next day.
Consistent, restful sleep can support a child’s physical health, emotional well-being, school readiness, concentration, and ability to thrive. By providing beds and essential household resources, we help families create a safer and more supportive home environment.
Our Aspiration:
No child in our community should have to sleep on the floor because their family cannot afford a bed.
Who We Serve:
Beds and Blessings Community Outreach assists eligible families with children who live in:
- Riverside County, California
- San Bernardino County, California
Priority may be given to children who are sleeping on the floor, sharing unsafe sleeping arrangements, transitioning from homelessness, recovering from displacement, or experiencing other urgent family hardships.
All assistance is based on eligibility, available inventory, delivery capacity, and volunteer availability.
What We Provide:
Beds and Bedding – We provide bed frames, mattresses, bedding, pillows, and related sleep essentials to help children have a safe and comfortable place to rest.
Living Essentials – Depending on current inventory and family need, we may also provide dressers, desks, and possibly other household essentials.
School Supplies – We help children prepare for school by distributing backpacks, notebooks, writing supplies, and other educational materials when available.
Hygiene Items – We collect and distribute personal care and hygiene products that support health, dignity, and daily well-being.
Community Resources Connections – When possible, we connect families with trusted organizations and programs that may provide additional support.
Share our mission with family members, neighbors, employers, schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations. Greater awareness helps us reach more families and build a stronger network of support.

Beds and Blessings Community Outreach serves eligible families with children who reside in Riverside County or San Bernardino County. A parent, relative, or caregiver must submit the current Bed Request Application.
Our primary focus is providing beds and bedding for children. Based on inventory and funding, we may also provide dressers, desks, backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene products.
No. Approved resources are provided without charge to eligible families through the generosity of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
No. Applications are reviewed according to eligibility, urgency, inventory, funding, delivery location, and volunteer capacity.
Processing and delivery times vary. Children sleeping on the floor or experiencing an urgent transition may receive priority, but assistance remains dependent on current resources.
For health and safety reasons, we do not accept used mattresses.

Yes. Businesses may support the mission through financial sponsorships, in-kind donations, employee volunteer teams, or approved donation drives.
